In 2011, 357 Constitution Plaza received a $1.3 million-plus complete interior and exterior renovation, which included the addition of an underground parking garage. In recognition of the building’s historic significance, the developer received a $60,000 historic façade grant from the Idaho Falls Redevelopment Agency.

This 16,648-square-foot building is currently home to the corporate offices of Idahoan Foods, a large regional food processing company.

Originally constructed as a rooming house located at the corner of 8th and Front Streets in Boise, the building was moved to 413 West Idaho in 1960 by Boise architect Chester Buchler. Extensive additions were added to the north and south ends of the building, and an elevator was added, converting it from a residential structure to a commercial building.
